An Ideal Husband

Haymarket theatre Production from 2003, directed by Paul Kerryson.

Mirrored doorways move to create each scene. Peacock feathers are a motif used on the doors, floor and costumes. A 3m tall Venus De Milo flew in – Oscar Wilde said no room was complete without one – and for every scene a giant painting with Oscar Wildes’ face inserted somewhere also flew in.
